Restaurants in Tampa Bay
Kitchens, dining rooms and bars built to health, fire and ADA code, on a schedule that respects your opening.
Restaurant build-outs that pass inspection the first time
Restaurants carry more inspections than almost any other build-out: building, fire, health and often grease and hood approvals. We plan the kitchen, plumbing and ventilation early so the space is designed to pass, not patched to pass.
From second-generation restaurant renovations to first-time conversions of retail space, we keep your opening date at the center of the schedule.
- Commercial kitchen layout and build-out
- Hood, ventilation and fire suppression coordination
- Grease interceptors and plumbing
- Dining rooms, bars and restrooms
- ADA-compliant entries and seating

Restaurants FAQsQuestions
Can you convert a retail space into a restaurant?
Often, yes. It depends on plumbing, ventilation routes, parking and zoning. We review the space with you before you commit so there are no surprises.
How long does a restaurant build-out take?
Timelines depend on scope and permitting. We give you a written schedule with milestones for every inspection.
Do you handle permits and inspections for restaurant projects?
Yes. As a licensed Florida general contractor, we manage drawings, permit applications and inspections with the City of Tampa, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco County building departments. You never have to chase a permit or meet an inspector.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Palm Bay Construction Group is a fully licensed, bonded and insured general contractor (FL Lic. CGC1541367). We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage and can provide proof before your project begins.
